Get a Fully Functional Rack with a Best Fitness Power Rack with 23 Adjustment Positions and Optional Lat Bar Pull/Low Attachment

Combine barbell, cable, pull-up, and dip training in one compact power rack package designed for versatile home strength workouts.

The Body-Solid Best Fitness Power Rack Package BFPR100B combines the BFPR100B Power Rack with a Lat Attachment and Dip Attachment. Together, the package expands a traditional free-weight rack into a more versatile strength station for squats, presses, rack exercises, pull-ups, lat pulldowns, rows, curls, shrugs, dips, and other upper- and lower-body movements.

The BFPR100 platform uses a 14-gauge 2" × 2" steel mainframe with 23 rack positions, full-length safety bars, adjustable lift-offs, and a 500 lb capacity. The lat attachment adds high- and low-pulley cable training, while the dip attachment uses both rack safeties for a stable bodyweight training station. The manufacturer's product sheet confirms the BFLA100 and DR100 as the two optional attachments designed for the BFPR100 platform.

Why This Package Works

Expands Beyond Barbell Training: The lat attachment and dip station give the BFPR100B considerably more exercise versatility than the power rack alone.

High and Low Cable Training: Perform lat pulldowns, rows, curls, shrugs, and other cable exercises without purchasing a separate cable machine.

No Cable Changes Between Stations: The BFLA100BV high- and low-pulley design lets users transition between exercises without rerouting the cable.

Dedicated Bodyweight Training: The integrated chinning bar and DR100 Dip Attachment add pull-ups, chin-ups, and dips to the same rack system.

Plate-Loaded Resistance Keeps It Simple: The lat attachment uses 1" weight posts, allowing customers who already own standard weight plates to use their existing weights.

Built Around One Compatible Platform: Both the lat and dip attachments are specifically designed for the BFPR100 platform, eliminating guesswork when assembling the package. The Body-Solid product sheet identifies both attachments as compatible options.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • For many home strength-training setups, it provides a strong foundation because you can combine barbell exercises, cable exercises, pull-ups, and dips in one station. You will still need a barbell and weight plates for free-weight training, and we recommend adding an adjustable bench if you want to perform bench presses, incline presses, seated exercises, and other bench-based movements.

  • Choose the BFPR100B package when you want an affordable home-gym system and its 500 lb rack capacity comfortably accommodates your training needs. If you are a heavier lifter, expect substantial strength progression, or are equipping a higher-use facility, we recommend considering one of our heavier-duty Body-Solid power rack packages instead. Contact Competitors Outlet anytime if you want help comparing the options.

  • For many recreational strength-training programs, yes. However, capacity should be considered against both your current lifts and expected progression. Advanced powerlifters and customers planning very heavy rack work may be better served by a higher-capacity rack rather than purchasing a system they could eventually outgrow.

  • We recommend one if you want a well-rounded home gym. A compatible adjustable bench adds flat and incline bench presses, seated shoulder presses, dumbbell exercises, and other movements that aren't practical with the rack alone. If you're unsure which bench fits your available space and training style, contact us and we'll help you choose one.

  • If you're starting from scratch, Olympic plates and a 7' Olympic bar generally provide the most versatile foundation for your free-weight training. The BFLA100BV lat attachment itself has 1" standard plate posts, so Olympic plates require compatible adapter sleeves for use on the cable station.

  • Yes, with the included Olympic adapter sleeves on the BFLA100B. This is useful in a home gym because the same plate collection can serve your Olympic barbell and plate-loaded cable station rather than requiring two separate sets of weights.

  • The BFLA100BV extends the training system and adds cable hardware, but it is designed specifically to work with the BFPR100 platform. You should still plan enough surrounding space for loading a bar, positioning a bench, accessing the cable stations, and moving safely around the rack.

  • Don't plan your room using the equipment dimensions alone. Leave working clearance in front for a bench and cable exercises, room at the sides for loading and unloading a barbell, and adequate space behind the rack for the lat attachment. Send us your room dimensions if space is tight and we can help determine whether this package is a practical fit

  • It can be installed on an appropriate stable surface, but we recommend rubber gym flooring beneath the system. Flooring helps protect the underlying surface, improves the finished appearance of the training area, and provides a more appropriate surface around the rack for free-weight exercises.

  • It can be when floor space and budget are priorities. Integrating the lat and low-row station into the rack gives you both free-weight and cable training without dedicating another section of the room to a standalone machine. A separate functional trainer makes more sense when you need substantially greater cable-training versatility.

  • Yes. The adjustable rack positions accommodate different users, while the plate-loaded cable station lets each person select an appropriate resistance. The tapered DR100 dip handles also provide different hand positions. Each user should set the rack safeties and lift-offs appropriately before beginning an exercise.

  • Yes, particularly for someone who wants a system they can continue using as their exercise selection expands. However, beginners should learn proper barbell technique and safety setup before training independently. The adjustable safeties are an important part of using a power rack correctly.

  • Yes, when paired with the appropriate free weights. Squats and other barbell movements can address the lower body; presses, rows, pulldowns, dips, and pull-ups cover major upper-body movement patterns; and the high and low cable positions support additional accessory work. A bench further expands the exercise selection.

  • This would not be my first recommendation for an advanced powerlifter approaching the rack's capacity or for a busy commercial gym. It's better suited to a home or garage gym where value, exercise variety, and efficient use of space matter more than maximum commercial-duty capacity.

  • Yes. Send us your room dimensions, ceiling height, and any existing equipment you need to work around. We can help you determine whether the BFPR100B package fits comfortably and recommend alternatives if another rack configuration would work better.
